The decoupage design on this table has been created using the coloured interiors of envelopes. It is one of three items decorated by a woman from Baileboro, Ontario. (A smallish blanket box may be available at a later date, the other item is the stoneware bottle also featured in the Canal Street gallery.) The table, or stool, measures 15L x 15W x 16H, and is sturdily constructed - the joinery has been obscured by the decoupage. A funky, decorative piece!

A wonderful piece of folk art for framing or make a wonderful pillow. It measures 12 1/2" square and is completely handmade. Features the great ship "BlueBell" which has 3 American Flags.
We found a smudge on the sail (shown) and the velvet does have faint surface wear (shown) The basting threads are still there--this has never been used.
Dates into the 1800's, perfect for the folk art collector or the nautical decor.
