This is a beautifully carved and painted bird by the late, great, Gaspe, Quebec artist Yvon Cote. Cote was a highly regarded folk artist who is well represented in many major folk art collections. He achieved his unique finish by colouring the pieces with pencil crayon and then lacquering them. This piece came originally from Nettie Covey Sharpe, whose collection was the subject of a major folk art exhibition at the Museum of Civilization in 2003. Cote put little paper labels under the tail noting the name of each bird. In excellent condition. 6" long, 3" wide, 4 1/2" tall.

This is a well made pail bench from the Niagara peninsula in an early (probably original) green paint. It has great form and note the wooden peg construction (attached photo#4). Untouched, and all original. 47 1/2" wide, 15" deep, 33" tall.

Very unusual antique rocker crafted from paper twine. As found condition. Original seat with spring construction has been newly reupholstered.

This is a hand-carved grain shovel crafted from a single piece of wood. 48'H overall, shovel is 17.5" x 8.75" W. There is some damage on the shovel's edge, but a beautiful display piece for home or garden.

We have two hay forks for offer, likely late 1800's. Wood with hand forged nails and braces for tines. They are in excellent condition and would make a lovely display piece for home or garden.
